All the products sold by Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd through this website are subjected to these Terms and Conditions. By making a purchase through this website, the Customer affirms that he has read, understood and agreed to the Terms and Conditions indicated on the website.

Registration / Terms of Use

In order to make a purchase, the Customer shall agree to complete the registration process as required by Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd, as stated on this site, whereby the following information shall be provided correctly:

First Name, Last Name, E-mail Address, Telephone Number, Address

The Customer shall be responsible for keeping his account login confidential to prevent unauthorized access and account misuse. The Customer will be liable for every order made under his account and agrees to indemnify Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd for all claims, damages made by any third party arising from the actions of a person placing orders using the Customer’s account login.

Upon submission of an online order, the Customer commits to the price and quantity placed and will receive a confirmation receipt for the order via e-mail. Confirmation receipts do not confirm the availability of stock.

The prices reflected on the website are relevant to online purchases only. Price at Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd warehouse may vary from price displayed on the website at any instance. Prices displayed on the website cannot be used as reference price for products and/or services in Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd warehouse.

All photos used are for illustration purposes only hence actual product packaging and sizes may differ. The Customer shall not be entitled to return a product because it does not correspond exactly to its online photo.

Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd reserves the right to adjust the final invoice after the online order. Price is presented or conveyed to the Customer due to weighted items, stock availability, product substitutions and promotional offers, in which case, this difference will be communicated to the Customer via e-mail or telephone to confirm the changes.

Promotions are only valid for the time period specified by Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd and while stocks last basis. No compensation or cash will be offered in the event that a promotion is no longer in stock. No multiple promotion for an order at the same time , for instance, if customer have both promotion discount and coupon code, either one will apply.

Where any free gift is offered as part of a promotion, the free gift is offered on a “first come first serve” basis and while stocks last basis. No cash or credit will be offered in lieu of the gift. Regrettably, gift items are non-exchangeable.

Refunds for Product purchased under promotional offer will be based on the terms of the promotional price. If any free promotional gift given with an order must also be returned if you are returning the product(s) to which the gift related. If the total order value is reduced below the value of the qualifying free delivery or any promotion qualification because of a returned item, Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd may charge the delivery fee and/or the full value of the order without the promotion. Any special requests from customers for refunds and exchanges may require physical visit to Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd warehouse, after agreed and arranged between customers and Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd’s online stores.

Discrepancies will be dealt in the following manner:

• If any product proves to have been delivered in a damaged / defective condition or wrong items delivered, exchange of products / refund will be offset in the next order placed.
• If additional/wrong or damaged products are delivered, Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd reserves rights to collect the products from customer.
• If items are wrongly or short delivered by mistake, Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd reserves the rights to refund difference or supply the correct / short delivered item upon customer's future order.
• If item is damaged, Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd reserve the rights to request for photo evidence.

Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd reserves the right to discontinue any promotion, discount, voucher code programme, contest, privileges or programme at any time without notice or liability.

Cancel of order/Amendment

No amendment to an order is allowed once order is processed.

The Customer may cancel the order up to the point in time via email before Straits Marine Supply Online processes the order. After which, there would be a cancellation charge of $20 (exclusive of GST) imposed for each order canceled.

Miscellaneous

No orders via phone or email will be accepted, all customers have to register for an account/sign in as a guest and submit their orders online via the website with the updated shipping information. Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracy or omission. Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd will attempt its best to fulfil orders placed by shoppers. In the event that an ordered product is not available, Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd reserves the right to replace it with a similar item of equivalent value. Customers are strongly advised to check the item purchased at the time of acceptance to avoid any possible dispute. All products leaving our distribution center have been checked for quality and accurate quantity. However, replacement clause applicable any defective products.

Website Availability

Whilst all attempts will be made to ensure Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd website access is available all the time, occasionally the site may undergo repairs, maintenance or the introduction of new services.

Delivery Service

Free delivery service is available for a minimum order of S$100.00 before GST on scheduled days arranged by the company. S$30.00 delivery charges are applicable for orders below the set minimum amount.  

Upon placing an order for delivery, the Customer will be contacted by a representative of Straits Marine Supply to finalize the order and arrange delivery timing.

The Customer is to notify Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd of any change to his delivery address and contact number, 1 working day before the delivery date.

Delivery is limited to mainland Singapore excluding Jurong Island. Delivery timings are subjected to availability.

Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd reserve the right to charge additional SGD$30.00 for re-delivery in the event of an unsuccessful delivery due to no one receiving the delivery at provided address/wrong address is provided or any other reasons.

Self-Collection

Self-collect is available at Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd warehouse located at: 42 Tuas View Place, Singapore 637543

Self-collection orders can be collected 1 hour after the order has been placed (subject to operating hours). Orders are subjected to stock availability.

To the extent permitted by law, all warranties, descriptions, representations or advice given as to the fitness or suitability for any purpose, tolerance to any conditions, similarity to sample, merchantability or otherwise of the Products supplied, are expressly excluded.

No agent or representative of Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd is authorized to make any warranties, representations or statements regarding the products and Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd shall not in any way be bound by any such unauthorized warranties, representations or statements.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

The law applicable to these Conditions of Use of Web Site is the law of the Republic of Singapore and the courts of the Republic of Singapore will have exclusive jurisdiction in case of any dispute

Limited Liability

By accessing and using this site, the Customer acknowledges and accepts that the use of the site is at the Customers own risk. Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damage or for damages for lost profits or for loss of revenue arising out of any use of, access to, or inability to use the site.

Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions in its sole discretion but does not undertake any responsibility to notify the Customer of such changes. It is the Customers responsibility to review the Terms and Conditions prior to submitting any order.

All reasonable efforts are made to ensure that the information provided on this site is correct and up-to-date. Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for the content of the site or for anything posted on or linked to it, including without limitation any mistake, error, omission, infringement, defamation, falsehood, or other material or omission that might offend or otherwise give rise to any claim or complaint.
